Designed for use in extreme hydrogen sulphide (H₂S) environments, our C17200 beryllium-copper alloy oil drilling tool couplings combine superb strength, hydrogen embrittlement resistance and corrosion resistance, making them ideal for use in deep-sea drilling, high-acid gas fields, and high-temperature, high-pressure downhole operations.

1. Superior Material Properties of C5191 Phosphor Bronze

Composition & Performance (ASTM B103 compliant):

Sn 6.0-7.0%, P 0.1-0.25%, Cu balance

Hardness: HV 180-220 (cold-rolled hardened)

Elastic Modulus: 110 GPa | Fatigue Limit ≥300 MPa (10⁷ cycles, ISO 12106 tested)

Wear Resistance: Coefficient of friction ≤0.15 (dry conditions), offering 3x lifespan vs. standard brass valve plates.

2. Extreme Condition Adaptability

Temperature Range: -50°C (low-temperature refrigerants) to +150°C (high-pressure discharge) with no brittleness or creep.

Corrosion Resistance: Resists ammonia (NH₃), Freon (R134a/R404A), and ester-based lubricants, passing 1,000hr salt spray tests (ASTM B117).
